Drew Shields, a native Cincinnatian, has been recognized as one of American’s top artistic talents for the next generation.  Receiving national attention in 2006 he was awarded the American Visions Award for young artist at Carnegie Hall.  In 2007 his art work was exhibited in the prestigious Corcoran Art Gallery Washington D.C.


Shields, a Mason HS graduate, furthered his art education in NYC, NY where he attended Parsons, The New School of Design in 2007.  He put his studies on hold and returned to the Queen City in early 2008 when his mother was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. 


In late 2008 opportunity presented itself with an invitation to study aboard underneath master artist, Hristo Gaberov, in Kardjali Bulgaria. Shields returned amazed and inspired from touring not only Bulgaria but Greece, Austria, France, Italy and Turkey.
